Every dollar makes an impact in the lives of Heartspring children and families.
Heartspring has been a leading provider of services and therapies for children with special needs and developmental disabilities, and a fixture in the Wichita community since 1934. Funds from CAREfest help all departments at Heartspring. Heartspring provides a wide range of services and therapies through several programs including the Heartspring School, Pediatric Services, and Autism Services. All of these programs continue to help children learn, grow, and thrive.

1 in 54 U.S. children is impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Heartspring’s Autism Services department serves as a resource for therapies and support for these individuals and their families. We work every day to build and enrich the lives of each individual and family member.
From walking to saying first words, Heartspring’s Pediatric Services department helps children find their voice and gain independence. Through occupational, physical, speech, audiology, and behavioral health services, our therapists craft individualized approaches to teach families how to help their children at home and in the community.
Heartspring’s Residential & Day School is a unique educational setting that encompasses all areas of a student’s life including education, residential living, psychological, medical care, and therapies such as speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our goal is to give students the independence and skills they need to thrive in adult life.
